Tamatoa Silva steps into Power Slap with a heavyweight athletic pedigree and a mindset built on discipline, faith, and taking risks.

A native of Hawaii, Silva made his name early as a standout defensive lineman at Mililani and Farrington High Schools before continuing his football career at the professional level. He went on to compete in arena football with the Iowa Rampage and the Iowa Barnstormers, bringing physicality and presence to every level he played.

Now making his Power Slap debut, Silva transitions from the gridiron to the stage with the same mentality that defined his football career — constant preparation and respect for every opponent.

“Super heavyweights got heavy hitters from the top to the bottom. I’m not gonna take no one lightly.”

Silva began specifically preparing for Power Slap just a few months ago after developing a strong interest in the sport, though his training mindset has always been part of his daily life. Whether in the gym or through his work as an executive protection agent, he focuses on being physically ready for any challenge.

“I train constantly to be better than I was yesterday… I wanted to join to prove that I got what it takes to get a shot at the title one day.”

For Silva, Power Slap is more than just competition — it’s an opportunity to chase something that has been on his mind nonstop and to represent where he comes from on a bigger stage.

“It means a lot to me. It’s been on my mind 24/7.”

Driven by the goal of earning a title shot and representing his people, Silva enters the super heavyweight division ready to test himself against anyone put in front of him.

Outside of competition, Silva credits his faith and family as the foundation of his life. A husband and father, he considers those roles his greatest accomplishments and the driving force behind everything he pursues.
