It’s such an amazing opportunity that I am so grateful for. I’ve been wanting to work out for a living for years.

Luke “Lethal Strike” Simonds is a multi-sport athlete and Power Slap competitor known for his extensive athletic background, discipline, and pursuit of building a legacy through combat sports.

Simonds brings a diverse athletic foundation that includes wrestling, football, baseball, cross country, and basketball, along with 12 years of bodybuilding experience prior to entering Power Slap. That combination of strength training and competitive sports helped shape his transition into slap fighting, where he has continued developing his skills since first training for the sport.

“I trained bodybuilding for 12 years prior to the show last August and have been training slap ever since.”

For Simonds, Power Slap represents a life-changing opportunity to pursue a career built around fitness, competition, and performance while working within the platform created by Dana White and the UFC.

“Everything. It’s such an amazing opportunity that I am so grateful for. I’ve been wanting to work out for a living for years.”

A believer in discipline, toughness, and legacy, Simonds is focused on making an impact in the division and building a reputation as a dominant force in the sport.

“To dominate, make a legacy of why it’s important to be tough as a man, and to take care of my family.”

Ahead of his matchup with Jaidan Fa’anana, Simonds acknowledged their meeting at Power Slap 18 and expressed respect while remaining confident in his experience and preparation.

“Met him at Power Slap 18. He was a cool guy. Respect was given both ways, and I’m excited to show the difference in experience I have gained.”

Outside of competition, Simonds has worked a wide range of jobs including landscaping, forklift operation, warehouse work, Waffle House cook, and lawn specialist — experiences he credits as part of his work ethic and resilience.

With a strong physical background and a clear competitive mindset, “Lethal Strike” enters Power Slap focused on performance, growth, and leaving a lasting mark on the sport.
