“The best thing I’ve ever done was meeting my wife in high school and starting our family together.”
Lance Anoa’i enters Power Slap with a 1-0 record and a background built on three generations of professional wrestling, championship experience, and a legacy of toughness.
Anoa’i made his Power Slap debut at Power Slap 19 on April 17, 2026, earning a second-round KO victory over Amanpreet Singh. After stepping into a new combat sport, Anoa’i immediately showcased the power, athleticism, and competitive mindset that have defined his career.
A professional wrestler for 16 years, Anoa’i is a third-generation member of the legendary Anoa’i wrestling family. His father, former WWE/WWF Tag Team Champion Headshrinker Samu, and grandfather, WWE Hall of Famer Afa “The Wild Samoan,” helped establish a legacy of excellence that continues through generations. His extended family includes some of the biggest names in sports entertainment, including Yokozuna, Rikishi, Umaga, Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Nia Jax, and The Rock.
Currently the Battlefield Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Anoa’i has held multiple championships around the world throughout his wrestling career, including a former MLW Tag Team Championship alongside fellow Power Slap competitor Juicy Finau. He is also a former WWE and NXT employee, continuing his family’s tradition of performing on some of the biggest stages in professional wrestling.
Anoa’i first received the opportunity to compete in Power Slap after getting the call in December and attending a combine, where he began preparing for his transition into the sport. Balancing training with a full-time wrestling schedule and traveling every weekend, he embraced Power Slap as a chance to challenge himself in a new arena.
For Anoa’i, Power Slap represents an opportunity to create his own path while honoring the competitive spirit that has defined his family for generations.
Outside of competition, Anoa’i’s greatest motivation is his family. As a proud father of two daughters, Olivia and Peyton, he continues to pursue success with the goal of providing for the people who mean the most to him.
“The best thing I’ve ever done was meeting my wife in high school and starting our family together. Two beautiful princess girls.”
With a championship pedigree, a legendary wrestling background, and a successful start to his Power Slap career, Lance Anoa’i is ready to continue building his legacy in a new combat sports arena.
