J Boujii enters Power Slap as a debut competitor with a background built on professional wrestling, athletic competition, and a relentless drive to reach the biggest stages in combat sports.

A highly regarded independent professional wrestler, Boujii has been ranked among the PWI Top 500 wrestlers for the past three years and has competed for major promotions, including Major League Wrestling (MLW) and appearances on AEW Dark Elevation in 2022. He currently holds the PWJ Massacre Championship and UUF Coast to Coast Championship, while previously capturing the ETU Atlantic Tag Team Titles.

Before stepping into professional wrestling, Boujii competed in Division II basketball, bringing a foundation of athleticism, discipline, and competitive experience into every challenge he takes on.

For Boujii, Power Slap feels like a natural evolution. Growing up in The Bronx, slap boxing was a part of his everyday life, turning friendly competition into a lifelong connection with the sport. After watching the early days of Power Slap and seeing the intensity of the competition, the idea of stepping into the arena became a goal. He began seriously pursuing the opportunity after attending events during WrestleMania weekend and seeing the energy surrounding the sport firsthand.

“I’ve been training my whole life. I’m from The Bronx, we’d slap box for fun in middle school, lunchtime, just for sport. Never thought something we did for fun and boredom could become what it is now.”

Boujii sees Power Slap as an opportunity to expand his reach, showcase his toughness, and become one of the premier professional wrestling crossovers in the sport.

“Fighting in Power Slap means visibility. I’ve already been one of the best independent wrestlers for the last three years, now it’s about upping and getting on that big stage.”

Outside of competition, Boujii’s biggest motivation is his family. As the oldest of four siblings and a father, he is driven by the goal of creating a better future for the people who have supported him throughout his journey.

“Ultimately giving my family everything. It’s bigger than just the fight. I have a purpose.”
