Jake Hager brings one of the most accomplished combat sports résumés in Power Slap as he continues his transition into the sport with a 1-0 record.

Hager made his Power Slap debut at Power Slap 19 on April 17, 2026, earning a third-round TKO victory over Devin Jenkins. Known for his size, toughness, and high-level athletic background, he immediately proved he belongs among the division’s top competitors.

A decorated wrestler, Hager was an All-American at the University of Oklahoma and set a school record in 2006 with 30 pins in a single season. Prior to that, he was a two-time Oklahoma state wrestling champion in high school. His success carried into professional combat sports, where he compiled an undefeated 3-0, 1 NC record in MMA with Bellator before retiring in 2023.

Hager also built a championship career in professional wrestling, becoming a two-time world champion, including reigns as World Heavyweight Champion and ECW Champion, along with a United States Championship.

After recovering from a shoulder injury, Hager began specifically training for Power Slap in December, embracing the opportunity to compete in a new arena.

For Hager, stepping into Power Slap is about continuing a legacy of toughness and proving himself against elite competition.

While his primary goal is to provide for his family, Hager remains motivated by competition and maintaining his undefeated status across combat sports.
