Glen “Hammer Hands” Hunter is a seasoned combat sports athlete and rising Power Slap competitor bringing years of striking experience, toughness, and resilience into the lightweight division.

Hunter’s combat sports background includes wrestling, more than eight years of Muay Thai training, and competition across multiple disciplines with amateur experience in kickboxing, MMA, boxing, and pankration. He also stood out at the September Power Slap Combine, recording the second-highest Power Slap Cube score ever among lightweight competitors at previous combines.

A landscape construction technician by trade, Hunter has continued sharpening his skills since the combine while building momentum toward his Power Slap debut.

“I’ve been into combat sports my whole life and been following the UFC since the Forrest Griffin Ultimate Fighter days. Found out about Power Slap and applied online.”

For Hunter, Power Slap represents far more than just competition — it embodies toughness, grit, courage, and the willingness to step onto the stage and test yourself against another athlete.

“Power Slap to me is everything. It’s about the grit, the glory, the toughness, the courage it takes to get up on that stage.”

Ahead of his matchup with Bryan “Baby Yoda” Scambler, Hunter acknowledged his opponent’s momentum and support system while making it clear he plans to disrupt the hype and take his spot in the rankings.

“Bryan got a knockout on his first strike… all I can do is come in and try and spoil the day and take his No. 10 spot.”

Hunter’s ultimate goals are straightforward — make money, score knockouts, and eventually wrap championship gold around his waist.

“My goal is to make as much money as I can, knock every one of my opponents out, and get that belt around my waist.”

Outside of competition, Hunter credits accepting Jesus Christ as one of the most important moments of his life, while also openly acknowledging the mistakes he made in his youth that resulted in five years spent in Michigan state prison — experiences that helped shape the discipline and mindset he carries today.

Focused, experienced, and battle-tested, “Hammer Hands” enters Power Slap determined to climb the rankings and establish himself as a serious threat in the division.
