Ellie Dempster enters Power Slap history as a perfect 2-0 competitor fighting for the inaugural Women’s Flyweight Championship.

Named Power Slap’s Rookie of the Year in 2025, Dempster has made an immediate impact in the division with two victories, including a first-round TKO over Haley James at Power Slap 15 and a second-round disqualification win over Mikael-Michelle Brown at Power Slap 13.

Before entering Power Slap, Dempster built her combat sports background through Muay Thai, training and competing in Thailand. She also grew up playing rugby, developing the toughness and physicality that she brings into competition.

Dempster was first introduced to slap fighting while watching Mikael-Michelle Brown vs. Paige and was drawn to the energy and atmosphere surrounding the sport.

“I knew I wanted to be part of it. This sport is still growing, and I want to be one of the people helping shape its future.”

For Dempster, Power Slap is another opportunity to test herself, grow as an athlete, and continue evolving across combat sports.

“My ultimate goal is to grow and evolve in whatever discipline I commit to, whether that’s slap or MMA. I want to push my limits and be the best version of myself as a fighter.”

Outside of competition, Dempster works in marketing and uses her platform to support Baan Doi, an organization in Northern Thailand that rescues children from sex trafficking and provides them with a safe home and education.

With an undefeated record, Muay Thai experience, and a purpose-driven mindset, Ellie Dempster is focused on making history as she competes for the first-ever Women’s Flyweight Championship.
