“Build a name. Dominate and leave a legacy.”
Cedrice “LaFlare” Paillant is a former Division I football player and multi-sport athlete bringing elite-level size, athleticism, and discipline into the world of Power Slap.
Paillant’s athletic background includes wrestling, basketball, and high-level football competition, where he developed into a standout offensive lineman. In high school, he earned all-league honors in wrestling while also competing as a varsity basketball center before continuing his football career at Monroe Junior College and eventually Rutgers University.
At Rutgers, Paillant became an Academic All-Big Ten selection in 2021 while appearing in 20 games across the 2020 and 2021 seasons, making multiple starts at left guard. During his collegiate career, he helped contribute to one of Rutgers’ highest-scoring Big Ten offenses while earning recognition as one of the top junior college offensive tackle prospects in the country.
Now transitioning into Power Slap, Paillant began training in mid-2025 and sees the sport as an opportunity to establish his name in a new arena while building a lasting legacy through competition.
“Build a name. Dominate and leave a legacy.”
Ahead of his matchup with Casey, Paillant acknowledged the challenge and welcomed the opportunity to test himself against quality competition.
“Respect Casey… good test.”
Outside of sports, Paillant says his proudest accomplishment is becoming a father and helping bring his children into the world — something that continues to motivate his drive both in and out of competition.
With a background built on discipline, athletic performance, and physical toughness, “LaFlare” enters Power Slap focused on making an immediate impact and climbing toward the top of the division.
