Power Slap 14: The Bell vs Mena features three marquee title matches
Power Slap today announced its first live US road show event with “$VET POWER SLAP 14: THE BELL VS. MENA, PRESENTED BY MONSTER ENERGY,” taking place in New Orleans, La. at XULA Convocation Center on Friday, July 18 as part of UFC 318: HOLLOWAY vs. POIRIER 3 fight week. The event will be streamed live and free to a global audience on Power Slap’s YouTube channel youtube.com/@powerslap at 8 p.m. CST / 6 p.m. PDT.

Headlining Power Slap 14 at the XULA Convocation Center will be a heavyweight title match between current Power Slap Heavyweight Champion, Damien “The Bell” Dibbell (5-0, 3 KOs), and No. 3 ranked Heavyweight Wes “The Boom” Mena (4-0, 2 KOs). The Bell – at age 23 – is undefeated in Power Slap and is known for his massive knockout power and granite chin. An assistant coach on Season 1 of ‘Power Slap: Road to the Title, he holds victories against former Light Heavyweight Champion Wolverine, Nate Burnard, and Ryan Phillips. Mena, also undefeated in Power Slap, is a breakout star from Season 3 of Power Slap: Road to the Title, and made waves with his recent wins over Aaron Turner, Devin Jenkins, and Jashell Ticha Awa. The Bell now aims to defend his title once again in dominant fashion by halting the momentum of Mena, while “The Boom” intends to shock the world with another impressive KO to capture the title.
In the co-main event, a middleweight title trilogy rematch between current Power Slap Middleweight Champion Branden “The Butcher” Bordeaux (4-1, 1 KO). and No. 1 ranked contender Isaih “The Puerto Rican Pretty Boy” Quinones (4-3, 4 KOs). The Butcher aims to secure another highlight-reel finish to prove once and for all that he is the best middleweight in the world. At the same time, the Puerto Rican Pretty Boy plans to make the most of his second opportunity at the belt and begin his reign again as the new world champion.
Also on the card, a lightweight title rematch between undefeated champion Robert “The Real Deal” Trujillo (5-0, 4 KOs) and No. 1 ranked contender Dakota “The Maritime Menace” McGregor (2-1, 2 KOs). Trujillo is undefeated in Power Slap, having put on thrilling performances against Dallas Marron and Jewel Scott, among others. McGregor has his sights set on bouncing back with a statement performance and claiming the title for his own.

Dan Hellie will call the action alongside former UFC fighter Alan Jouban. Charly Arnolt will handle reporting duties. The ring announcer will be Justin Bernard.
