Headlining Power Slap 15 will be the culmination of the championship trilogy between current Power Slap Middleweight title holder Branden “The Butcher” Bordeaux (4-1, 1 KO). And former champion and No. 1 ranked contender Isaih “The Puerto Rican Pretty Boy” Quinones (4-3, 4 KOs). Their first match was electrifying, with both strikers scoring knockdowns before Quinones secured a KO victory. In the rematch, The Butcher won by TKO in the first round, solidifying his place as champion. Bordeaux now aims to secure another highlight-reel finish to prove once and for all that he is the best middleweight in the world. At the same time, the Puerto Rican Pretty Boy plans to make the most of his second opportunity at the belt and begin another reign as world champion.
In the co-main event, No. 3 ranked light heavyweight Austin “Turp Daddy Silm” Turpin (6-2, 5 KOs) steps back up on stage to defend his spot in the rankings against No. 4 ranked contender Luke “Lethal Strike” Simonds (4-1, 3 KOs) in a clash guaranteed to deliver action. Both strikers earned their spots in the top five of the division through a series of standout performances. Turpin is coming off a spectacular knockout victory over veteran Vernon “The Mechanic” Cathey and plans to add another to his resume when he faces Simonds. Lethal Strike proved his power in “Season 3: Road to the Title” with a highlight-reel KO and later cemented his reputation by winning via first-round knockout against TJ Thomas at Power Slap 10.
The remainder of the Power Slap 15 card will be announced in the coming weeks.
Dan Hellie will call the action alongside former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping. Charly Arnolt will handle reporting duties. The ring announcer will be Justin Bernard.
