Recap All The Action, From The House To What Happened At The Striker’s Podium, On Episode 7 Of Power Slap: Road To The Title Season 3
After heavyweights Devan Helm and Brice Jones make weight, the next day they head to the Apex to settle their beef, which has been brewing since the first night in the house. On stage, Brice makes quick work of Devan with a vicious first-slap knockout. With the win, Brice is moving on to Round 2 of the competition.
The next day, middleweights Hunter Hassanin and Daniel Madalena head to the gym for their weigh-in. To add stakes to their upcoming fight, the two make a bet: the guy that loses the fight will have to shave his mustache. The next morning they travel to the Apex for their big showdown. Hunter wins the coin toss and strikes first. After both strikers eat the first slaps, in the second round Hunter drops Daniel with a big shot. After trying to recover, the doctor stops the fight and Hunter is awarded the victory. Later that night, coach Austin Turpin pays a visit to the house and encourages Hunter to collect on his bet with Daniel. In the end, Hunter shaves Daniel’s mustache.
The next morning at Team Trujillo training light heavyweight Edward Salazar prepares for his upcoming fight against Brandon Rhodes. After some smack talk at the weigh-in, the two face off at the Apex the next day. Brandon wins the coin toss and strikes first. The fight ends quickly after the first slap, as Brandon’s strike appears to fracture a bone in Edward’s face. Because of that, the doctor stops the fight and Brandon gets the win. He will be moving on to Round 2 of the competition.
The next day is another weigh-in of light heavyweights, as Canadian Cody Young squares off against Bryce Hurd-Smith. After some trash talk, and both make weight, it’s time for fight day. Cody wins the coin toss and strikes first. Bryce eats Cody’s first slap then, when it’s his turn, drops Cody with a big shot.
