Hayden Johnson is a highly experienced martial artist with an 8-year background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and boxing, entering Power Slap with elite athletic conditioning, heavy-hitting power, and championship ambition.

Johnson’s combat sports foundation spans multiple disciplines, and he has attended two UFC Apex combines, continuing to refine his skill set while preparing to transition back into full-time MMA training in the future. Known for his physical strength and performance metrics — including maxing out a 600 lb neck force machine — Johnson brings a rare combination of durability and athletic explosiveness into the division.

For Johnson, Power Slap is more than competition — it is a personal calling shaped by family, faith, and loss.

“I used to watch Power Slap with my dad when he was sick on hospice… a month after he passed away from ALS, I met Pono Pau at my church, and I feel like it was meant to be.”

He now enters the sport with a deep sense of purpose, driven to honor his father’s memory while proving his own potential on a global stage.

“I’m going to make my dad proud.”

Ahead of his upcoming matchup, Johnson made it clear he respects the champion but believes the division is ready for a new face at the top.

“I feel like he is a great champion… but I feel he is yet to face somebody as violent and dangerous as me.”

Confident in his abilities and fueled by belief in his future, Johnson has set his sights firmly on championship gold.

“I will be champion May 15th.”

Outside of competition, Johnson has worked in construction and credits his faith in Jesus Christ as one of the most important turning points in his life, helping him refocus, grow, and pursue his full potential.
