I fight to honor my father’s legacy

Dorian “Disturbing the Peace” Perez is a former All-State football player and undefeated Streetbeefs West Coast heavyweight boxing champion bringing a proven track record of toughness, momentum, and fight-ending power into Power Slap.

Perez originally built his combat foundation through football and later transitioned into combat sports, where he compiled a 7-0 boxing record in Streetbeefs West Coast, capturing the heavyweight title and earning viral attention for his performances. That success helped open the door to Power Slap, where he entered early in his development with minimal slap-specific training but quickly adapted and continued evolving as a competitor.

“I went to the qualifier event with zero slap training and a broken nose… but I learned very fast and still won both my slap fights.”

Since then, Perez has continued competing consistently while sharpening his power and speed in the gym, driven by a relentless pursuit of being the best across any combat sport he enters.

“The goal is always to be the best. Regardless if I’m boxing, slapping, or doing a one-legged ass kicking contest.”

Ahead of his matchup, Perez broke down his opponent’s rise in the rankings while emphasizing his belief that experience, grit, and mentality separate elite competitors from the rest.

“He is a weight lifter, I am a fighter. He is a bodybuilder, I’m a gladiator.”

For Perez, Power Slap is deeply personal. He credits the sport with giving him a platform to show resilience and strength, not just for himself, but as an example for his younger brother.

“I’m trying to show him that no matter how hard I get hit or how much fear is in my heart, I won’t quit.”

Outside the sport, Perez carries both pride and pain in his personal story. He speaks openly about the passing of his father and how it continues to motivate him, while also cherishing one of his most meaningful life moments — protecting his sister by confronting domestic violence head-on with his father.

Currently working toward reopening his father’s BBQ business, Perez balances fighting with family legacy, responsibility, and purpose.

With proven fight experience, raw toughness, and an aggressive mindset, “Disturbing the Peace” enters Power Slap determined to dominate, inspire, and continue building his legacy inside and outside the sport.
