“The better we understand resilience, the better we perform in sports and in life.”
Camee Adams enters Power Slap as a debut competitor with a background built on combat sports experience, resilience, and a lifelong commitment to overcoming challenges.
A former professional MMA fighter, Adams competed in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) in 2022 and holds a professional record of 0-1 along with a 3-2 amateur MMA record. After stepping away from competition, she returns to the fight world with a renewed perspective and a desire to showcase a different side of herself on the Power Slap stage.
Outside of combat sports, Adams is a two-time published author, resilience educator, speaker, podcast host, certified personal trainer, and yoga teacher. She has written Reclaim Yourself: A Memoir of Strength, Survival, and Starting Over and The Four Forms of Resilience, using her own experiences to help others understand resilience as a skill that can be developed and strengthened.
Adams began training for Power Slap in October 2025, viewing the opportunity as a chance to compete from a healthier place and fully enjoy the journey. After facing personal challenges throughout her MMA career, including raising her daughters as a single mother and navigating major life obstacles, she sees Power Slap as a second chance to prove what she is capable of.
“Honestly, it means a lot. I’m grateful for a second chance to compete and show people another side of who I am. I’ve always been competitive, but now I get to do it from a healthier place and actually enjoy the experience.”
Ahead of her debut, Adams is ready for the challenge and believes the matchup will bring a unique dynamic for fans.
“We definitely have completely different aesthetics, which I think will be fun for the fans. I’m excited to get in there and see who leaves with the last slap.”
For Adams, fighting is about more than competition — it is about redefining resilience and showing others that strength can be built through adversity.
“I believe resilience is a skill. A skill that can be developed, strengthened, and expanded over time. The better we understand resilience, the better we perform in sports and in life.”
With experience in MMA, a passion for personal growth, and championship aspirations, Camee Adams enters Power Slap looking to make an impact, chase the belt, and prove that resilience is the foundation of every comeback.
